Business Plan Competition

Vermont Tech is launching a Business Plan Competition for food- and farm-related businesses to encourage new business development. Open to residents and students in Washington, Orange, and Windsor Counties, prizes totaling $22,250 will be awarded.

FINE Releases New Research Report

FINE recently released a new research report focusing on the US Department of Defense’s “DoD Fresh” program.

The report provides data and information to understand and adapt the program to increase the availability of locally0grown produce in New England; offers best practices gleaned through numerous stakeholder interviews; and offers recommendations for potential changes to the program.
